The Options Program
The Options Program is a Parent Partnership Program designed to meet the ever-changing needs of our students. The Options Program is a bridge between our off-site families and the Reardan-Edwall School District. We provide curriculum, support, guidance and help monitor the progress of your students. We encourage diving deep into learning experiences and we are excited to build relationships with students, parents, staff and the community to help our students reach their academic and personal goals.
24-25 Enrichment Classes
We have new options for high school credit! These classes will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays in person with our amazing teachers and then have 3 days of extension activities to complete. Want to try some Physics Aviation? Come join us for one class or all day!
Field Trip Fun!!!
Over the last few years, we went to the West Valley Outdoor Learning Center, the Fish Hatchery, Roller Valley, Fluent Motions Parkour and the Corbin Art Museum, the L and L Farmstead for field trips! We are learning so much!!!
We visited the Rusty Truck Ranch in October and learned about bees and farm animals, took a hay ride, picked pumpkins, and played on farm equipment.
What is The Options Program?
The Options Program is an approved public school with a variety of on-campus and off-campus Alternative Learning Experiences (ALE’s) for students in grades K-12 provided by the Reardan-Edwall School District. ALE courses are defined as public school courses where some or all of the learning takes place off-campus.
Students can receive consulting services and academic support both on-campus and off-campus (at-home).
Students can enroll in Reardan Online where a BYU certificated employee or an EdOptions Academy certificated employee (K-12) will assign, adjust and assess their learning progress through an online platform.
Students can enroll in The Options Program enrichment classes such as: STEM, Art, PE, Math, Science, History, Language Arts as well as other enrichment classes taught by Community Based Facilitators, a Certificated Teacher and some High School Students.
Students can enroll in Options Home Connection where a Reardan-Edwall certificated teacher will guide and monitor their learning through family-supported learning of at-home instruction.
Students can dual enroll in Reardan Elementary/Middle School/High School, Options Online, and/or Options Home Connection.
Students can access work-based learning for high school credit.
High School students can come in and work with certificated teachers 2 days a week. Electives will also be offered in a modified setting as well as help planning a personalized high school experience.
