Welcome to the Options Program, the Reardan-Edwall School District's Parent Partnership Program built to meet the evolving needs of our students. We consider ourselves a crucial bridge, connecting our off-site families directly to the resources and support of our district. We provide everything from curriculum and guidance to monitoring student progress, all while nurturing strong relationships to help your student thrive in their non-traditional learning path.
We encourage students to dive deep into their learning experiences, and we are committed to partnering with students, parents, staff, and the community to help every student reach their academic and personal goals.
Field Trips!!!
We have gone to the West Valley Outdoor Learning Center, the Fish Hatchery, Roller Valley, Fluent Motions Parkour, the Corbin Art Museum, Mobius, the L and L Farmstead for field trips! We are learning so much!!!
What is The Options Program?
The Options Program is an approved public school with a variety of on-campus and off-campus Alternative Learning Experiences (ALE’s) for students in grades K-12 provided by the Reardan-Edwall School District. ALE courses are defined as public school courses where some or all of the learning takes place off-campus.
Students can receive consulting services and academic support both on-campus and off-campus (at-home).
Students can enroll in Reardan Online where a BYU certificated employee (K-12) will assign, adjust and assess their learning progress through an online platform.
Students can enroll in The Options Program enrichment classes such as: STEM, Art, PE, Math, Science, History, Language Arts as well as other enrichment classes taught by Community Based Facilitators, a Certificated Teacher and some High School Students. Students can also attend field trips where they can expand their horizons and connect learning to the real world.
Students can enroll in Options Home Connection where a Reardan-Edwall certificated teacher will guide and monitor their learning through family-supported learning of at-home instruction.
Students can dual enroll in Reardan Elementary/Middle School/High School, Options Online, and/or Options Home Connection.
Students can access Paid Work Experience for high school credit.
High School students can come in and work with certificated teachers 2 days a week. Electives will also be offered in a modified setting as well as help planning a personalized high school experience.
Our program encompasses six distinct offerings, designed to support diverse educational journeys:
Outdoor School (Grades 4-8): An engaging program featuring monthly community service opportunities.
K-12 School at Home Parent Partnership: A collaborative model offering curriculum and dedicated support for at-home learning.
Open Doors GED Re-Engagement Program (Ages 16-21): A vital pathway for young adults to achieve their GED and future goals.
Project-Based High School: An innovative, student-led curriculum where learning comes alive through real-world projects, building credits towards a high school diploma.
