Writing

Some of our favorite writing activities to do at home:

• Have your child write their name and their family members names

• Write notes and letters to friends and family

• Write or copy environmental print.  

  • Writing names off of food labels (Cereal labels, vegetable can labels, etc.)

  • Write down words they see around the house

• Writing the grocery list (or crossing it off while at the store.  We just got apples, which word on the list would be apples?)

• Labeling pictures they illustrate

• writing stories or books at home
