Hi seniors!! We hope you all had so much fun at prom last night! We wanted to send some important times and reminders for all the festivities next week - PLEASE READ THIS FULLY!
Tuesday, May 26th Elementary School Visit: Please get to RMHS at 8:30am where we will gather in the PAC before getting on busses and make sure to wear your elementary school shirt. If you did not pick yours up last week, we will have them with us that morning. Graduation rehearsal will follow once we return - THIS IS MANDATORY. If you are not attending the elementary school visit, please arrive to the PAC around 10am.
Tuesday, May 26th Senior Party: The senior party will be held in the field house from 7-9:30pm! We will have pizza, popcorn, a candy bar, an ice cream truck, inflatables, a photo booth and a hypnotist show!!!
Wednesday, May 27th Senior Sunrise: Come join us on the turf for sunrise and then grab some bagels (and Empower!) in the field house starting at 5:45am! Bagels will arrive closer to 6!
Wednesday, May 27th Cap & Gown Pickup: In the field house stop by to drop off materials and pick up your cap and gown anytime between 9am-11am. You must stop by during this timeframe!
Thursday, May 28th Class Day/BBQ: Please arrive outside of the PAC around 8:45am so we can start at 9am. Wear your destinations shirt along with your cap and gown! You'll all process in, get to watch the senior slideshow, and hear from your class officers. Graduation rehearsal will follow directly after this and is MANDATORY. If you are not coming to class day, make sure you arrive to the PAC by 10am. The senior barbeque will follow graduation rehearsal around 12pm!
Friday, May 29th Graduation: You will need to arrive at the PAC by 4pm with your cap and gown! Graduation will start at 6!!

Attention Seniors! Senior Prom Tickets are now on sale!!
Where: Seaglass in Salisbury, MA
When: May 21st, 2026 from 7-10 p.m.
Promenade will happen in the PAC prior to students boarding the buses. Students should plan to arrive around 5:15 p.m. with Promenade beginning around 5:20 p.m.. More information to follow in an email closer to the date!
How to buy tickets: You can buy your tickets online through GoFan or if you would prefer to pay via cash or check, you may drop off your payment in the guidance office in an envelope with your name on it. Checks need to be made out to "Town of Reading" with Senior Prom in the memo. If you need financial assistance, please contact Kara Santa Maria (kara.santamaria@reading.k12.ma.us).
IMPORTANT: Tickets are $100, but if you bought the senior pass they are offered at a discounted rate of $70. If you bought the senior pass and are also purchasing for a guest, please confirm with them if they also bought a senior pass. If so, you would purchase 2 tickets at the discounted rate. If they have not purchased it, if they are from a different school, or in a different grade, you would purchase one ticket at the senior pass rate and one at the regular rate. If you did not buy the senior pass, please just select the regular ticket.
If you have any dietary restrictions or food allergies, please fill out this google form by April 30th.
With senior week approaching, your class officers need help collecting photos from kindergarten to senior year! If you have any pictures ranging from elementary school field days to middle school graduation to high school dances, please submit them for our senior slideshow!

Just a friendly reminder that your Senor Yearbook Photo submission, Yearbook Name Confirmation and Senior Bio are due this Friday, December 5th. For those who have not yet selected their Senior photo for the yearbook, you will need to go onto the Prestige website, find your session to look at proofs, and choose and submit your chosen Senior yearbook photo. If a photo is NOT chosen, the default photo chosen by Prestige will be submitted for the yearbook.

The Class of 2026 is excited to announce the Walk It Like You Rocket 5K happening on Saturday, October 18th – and we’d love your support!! This event is a great opportunity for students, teachers, families, sports teams, and clubs to come together for a fun morning of movement and community. All proceeds raised will go directly to the RMHS Senior Class, helping to support events like prom, senior week, and graduation!
We’ll have two race options to make it fun for all ages:
5K Run/Walk – open to all participants
½ Mile Fun Run – just for kids 10 & under

Hi Seniors,
1. Apply for Senior Privilege – Some of you still haven’t applied. Don’t miss out! Pick up your badge in the Main Office.
2. Attendance Matters – Our goal is 97%. Last year you were at 94.3%, but this year you started at 97.6%. Keep it up!
Missing 15+ minutes = skipping the class.
3 tardies = detention.
8+ tardies = loss of extracurriculars.
3. Senior Privilege Rules
Always sign in/out at the Main Office with your badge.
First block study = arrive 5 min before 2nd block.
Last block study = leave after last class (or check in if staying).
Q2: Flex on Main Street (email me if you need library/teacher).
Q3: You may leave campus during Flex.
Q4: You may leave campus during Flex & Lunch.
