A message from your Assistant Principal & Class Advisors:
Senior year is here — and it’s packed with events you won’t want to miss! From prom to cap & gown pickup, homecoming week, and of course, graduation — there’s a lot happening.
This is your go-to space to stay updated on all senior year events and announcements. Be sure to check back often so you don’t miss anything important.
Let’s make your final year unforgettable. We’re so excited to experience it with you!
To the incredible Class of 2026,
Welcome to your senior year! This is a time filled with excitement, anticipation, and reflection. You’ve grown tremendously over the past three years, and now you stand at the threshold of your final chapter here at Reading Memorial High School. It’s your chance to celebrate how far you’ve come—and to shape where you're headed next.
As your assistant principal, I want to share a few pieces of advice as you begin this important year—grounded in the core values that guide our school community: Respect, Responsibility, Scholarship, and Perseverance.
Respect – Treat others—and yourself—with dignity and kindness. Whether you're in the classroom, on the field, or walking through the halls, your words and actions matter. The way you lead this year helps define the culture of our school.
Responsibility – This is your year to take charge of what matters most—your time, your choices, your goals, and your voice. Responsibility isn’t about being perfect; it’s about showing up, staying engaged, and making decisions that move you forward.
Scholarship – Stay committed to learning. Senior year is not just the finish line—it’s still a time for growth, discovery, and curiosity. Keep pushing yourself academically and finish strong.
Perseverance – Challenges will come, but you’ve already proven your strength. When things get tough, lean on your support system, stay focused, and keep moving forward.
Also, remember to be present. This year will be full of “lasts”—your last first day, last game, last concert, last class, last unity day. Make time to enjoy these moments and create memories with your classmates.
You have the power to make this year meaningful—not just for yourself, but for everyone around you. Show up, support one another, and leave a legacy that reflects the very best of the Class of 2026.
I'm so proud of you. Let’s make this year unforgettable.
With encouragement and pride,
Ms. Theriault, Assistant Principal
Scheduled for May 14, 2026
