November is packed with school spirit and traditions for our Rockets! We begin the month by honoring our community’s heroes with a Celebration of Reading Veterans on Thursday, November 7. This special event recognizes the service and sacrifice of our local veterans and their families. The excitement continues with Spirit Week and the Pep Rally during Thanksgiving week, where students can show their class pride, wear their colors, and cheer on our teams before the big game. Finally, on Thanksgiving Day, Wednesday, November 27, come support the Rockets as they take on Stoneham High School. The game kicks off at 10:00 AM at Stoneham High—so bundle up, bring your friends, and get ready to make some noise! Let’s make November a month to remember!

April and May mark the final stretch of senior year and include important academic milestones, celebrations, and graduation events.
April begins with the Senior Internship Program, starting with Internship Bootcamp, which prepares students for their placements. Internships officially begin on April 9, marking the transition from classroom learning to real-world experience for participating seniors.
May is filled with major senior milestones.
The last day of classes is May 15, followed by Senior Exams. Senior Final Examination Information is as follows:
Final Exam Exemptions: Seniors who earn an average of at least a B (83 or higher) through the end of the 4th quarter and have fewer than 6 unexcused absences during second semester will be exempt from taking final exams.
Internship Students: Seniors participating in an internship do not take final exams, unless enrolled in AP or Dual Enrollment courses.
Exam Format: Semester-length courses generally have a 2-hour exam worth 20% of the semester grade. In courses where an exam is not appropriate, an alternative evaluative activity will be scheduled.
Attendance During Exams: Students are only required to be in school when they have a scheduled exam and may leave campus for lunch during exams.
Make-Up Exams: Exams missed due to illness or other excused absences must be approved by the Main Office.
Invited seniors will be recognized at Senior Awards to celebrate academic and personal achievements. On May 21, seniors will take part in Promenade at RMHS and Senior Prom at Seaglass in Salisbury Beach, one of the most anticipated events of the year. The week of May 26 begins graduation activities, including Elementary School Visits, the first Graduation Rehearsal, and the Senior Party. Seniors will also enjoy Senior Sunrise on May 27, turn in school materials, and receive Cap & Gown distribution. Final preparations take place on May 28, including the second Graduation Rehearsal, Senior Report Cards being published, and Class Day & BBQ. The senior year concludes with Graduation on May 29, celebrating the Class of 2026 and the completion of their high school journey.
Attention Class of 2026: To celebrate your achievements and mark this significant milestone in your senior year, we are excited to announce Senior Spirit Week! Whether you are preparing to head out to an internship or continuing your studies here on campus, this week is dedicated to celebrating your journey together as a class. We invite all seniors to show their school spirit and make these final days of the spring term memorable. Please see the official theme schedule below:
Monday, 3/30: Pajama Day – Start the week cozy! Wear your favorite school-appropriate pajamas and slippers.
Tuesday, 3/31: Y2K Day – A nostalgic throwback to the early 2000s. Think denim, bright colors, and vintage tech.
Wednesday, 4/1: Adam Sandler Day – Channel the "Sandman" with his signature oversized t-shirts and baggy basketball shorts.
Thursday, 4/2: Senior Citizen Day – A classic play on your "Senior" status! Bring out the cardigans, glasses, and grey hair.
Friday, 4/3: Senior Shirts – Cap off the week by wearing your official Senior Shirts to show our collective class pride.
Let’s make this a week of fun and unity for the entire Senior class. We look forward to seeing everyone’s school spirit on display!
As we wrap up Spirit Week, please take note of these upcoming milestones. Whether you are heading out to the field or finishing your coursework on campus, these dates are essential for a successful end to the year.
