Applying to and Enrolling in the Reach School
The goals of the application and enrollment process to the Reach School is to make sure the Reach is the right fit for the student and the student is right fit for the Reach. We are so happy that you are considering coming to school here and hope it is the next step in your successful completion of high school.
The process starts with a meeting between the director and the student and family members. At this meeting the student will hear about our programs and requirements as well as ask any questions that they have. There will be a tour of the school. The student will also get the application and enrollment material so they can fill it out once they decide they would like to apply.
There is then a one day school visit. During that day the student will be a member of the school community and participate as well as observe what the school is like during a regular day.
If the student is interested and the school feels it is a good fit the student will then turn in their application and enrollment forms.
The student must also complete a substance screen before enrolling. The screening uses urine and is completed any time in the process before officially enrolling in the school. The screening tests for illicit drugs including opiates, marijuana, methamphetamines as well as others. If a student has a prescription that may trigger a positive response please let us know.
