BHS Graduation Requirements

Students who attend the REACH School earn a Bucksport High School Diploma by meeting these graduation requirements:

Bucksport High School Graduation Requirements:

• Students must earn 24 credits

  • 4 credits in English

  • 4 credits in Math

  • 4 credits in Science, one credit must be biology

  • 3 credits in Social Studies (US History required)

  • 1 credit in Fine Arts

  • 1 credit in Health

  • 1 credit in Physical Education

  • Proof of Computer Proficiency

  • Maine Studies requirement (most students meet this in middle school)

  • All students must complete 40 hours of community service
