It is strange for teachers to say "thank you for keeping your children home". However we all want to keep each other healthy. Also, extra concerns are held by some people in our classroom community. Example: Mr. O lives with someone who has a seriously compromised immune system. He wants to keep the risk his family member as low as possible with any sicknesses. Again, thank you for helping each other. Unfortunately, COVID is still active in our community, though we have reason to be very optimistic about our future health.
Please Note: With COVID in our community, Alberta Health has updated the screening checklists that parents are required to review before sending their children to school. At this time, keeping individuals with symptoms out of school is our first line of defense against the spread of COVID-19 in schools. Thanks for being vigilant and following the guidance on the checklist.
