Hey everyone! On November 23rd, our school is celebrating "Thanksgiving Day." The Academic Affairs Office wants us to think about all the awesome people who have had a big impact on our lives or have inspired us. They're encouraging us to say thanks!
Guess what? Some students even wrote thank-you letters! These letters are put up on the Gratitude Board for everyone to see. It's a cool way to show appreciation. Let's take a moment to think about and thank the people who make our lives better and more meaningful.
Disaster Preparedness
November 13, 2023
Today, we learned about getting ready for emergencies at school. Our principal talked about some important things we should always be prepared for, like knowing what could go wrong, having a team that knows what to do in emergencies, making sure we can talk to everyone easily, and practicing what to do if we ever need to leave our classroom or school quickly.
He also said that learning about staying safe is part of our school lessons. So, we talked about what we should do if something bad happens, like first aid or knowing what could be dangerous around us.
The main idea we got from today's activity is that being ready for emergencies is not just about following rules. It means promising to keep everyone safe at our school. This way, we can bounce back from tough times and always have a safe place to learn and grow.
