English Learners
All EL classes are determined by placement tests and EL teacher recommendation.
1020/1021 EL 1-2 I & II (9-12) This course is designed for students who are in the early stages of learning the English language. Students will be introduced to English literature and grammar, and develop basic skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening. 2 credits each semester
1040/ 1041 EL 3 I & II (9-12) Students will develop academic English through the study of literature, grammar and communication skills. 1 credit each semester
MN Bilingual Seals
You can earn a Bilingual Seal by taking a language proficiency test right here at Armstrong High School. For Spanish, students can take the AP Spanish Language and Culture Test or the STAMP Test.
