RVA instruction will be real-time (Synchronous) instruction from teachers during typical school hours. Staff will utilize Zoom and Otus as the main tools for instruction. Though real-time instruction is utilized for direct instruction, small group and independent instruction, flex-time (Asynchronous) instruction will be utilized as well when appropriate to maximize the online learning environment.
RVA’s curriculum is based on the California State Standards and taught by teachers who provide personalized instruction and support in the online classroom, via phone, email, and text. During interactive live video lessons, students receive direct instruction, collaborate with classmates, participate in activities, and build relationships with their teachers and peers.
RVA staff is composed of certificated and classified employees of the Roseville City School District. Teachers will hold the appropriate credentials and classified staff will hold the appropriate certifications. The requirements will not be different than physical site-based staff
