Calm Down Corner
A calm down corner is a special and designated space in your classroom where students who are experiencing big feelings can go self soothe or problem solve, and then be ready to think and learn again. Our goal is to support students, while avoiding removing them from the classroom. Calm down corners are trauma-informed interventions that truly benefit individual students as well as overall class culture.
