Ashley Cross, Director of Step to College, is experienced in program design and development. Her passion and strong leadership skills led her to start the first transitional living home for girls aging out of foster care in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Also, Ashley has experience designing, developing, and leading several youth initiatives such as homeless and runaway youth programs and mentoring programs. She is a graduate of Oral Roberts University, where she earned her bachelor degree in psychology, her Master’s Degree in Not-for-Profit Management and is currently an Educational Leadership Doctoral Candidate. Ashley brings passion and grit to develop the foundation of the program further and implement a strategic design to Step to College at East EPO.
Trina Duncan-Assistant Director
Trina Duncan, Assistant Director of Step to College, is experienced in creative programming, community engagement and youth development. Trina is a graduate of Buffalo State College where she earned a BA degree in Theater Arts and Directing. Her creative background has been the catalyst for her passion to create experiences that uplift, encourage and stir human emotion, leaving people with a desire to discover their own passions and calling as well as motivating community engagement to create exposure of arts and culture to individuals. This was easily seen in her past roles as Production Manager, Youth Coordinator and Guest Experience Director at The Father’s House. She will ensure that the Step to College program is not ” just” a program but a fun, interactive and engaging experience for our scholars and parents.
