School Based Professional Learning for all staff including teaching assistants and paraprofessionals. (Unless otherwise indicated in the sessions below)
Everyone must complete the survey at the end of the day for attendance verification and State Certification credit.
Target Audience: Participants will be notified by Nancy Eichner via RCSD email prior to May 12, 2022.
Times:
Elementary/K-8 buildings:
Early tier schools will begin scoring at 7:30am and end at 2:00pm
Schools: 8, 9, 12, 15, 17, 35, 45, 50, and Wilson Foundation.
Middle tier schools will begin scoring at 8:30am and end at 3:00pm
Schools: 5, 7, 19, 23, 25, 28, 33, 34, 46, 53, and 106
Late tier schools will begin scoring at 9:30am and end at 4:00pm
Schools: 2, 4, 10, 16, 22, 29, 39, 42, 52, 54, and 58(K-6)
Middle Schools/High Schools/Programs:
Early schools will begin scoring at 7:30am - 2:30pm

SOMOS Curriculum
Time: Follow your school schedule for this full day workshop
Place: Library at School Without Walls

Description: This training is designed for World Language Teachers Only. WL teachers will explore the SOMOS curriculum and will learn how to effectively use it for instruction. Teachers will learn to incorporate the supplemental resources into lesson design and to effectively create individual learning pathways for students.
Music Teachers are excused to attend the Citywide Choir rehearsal and Concert at East High School (only teachers from schools that have students participating). Dominic Pickard will be at East to track attendees.
Visual Art Teachers are excused to prepare and hang artwork at CO for the RCSD Student Arts Show. Regina Maier will be at Central Office to direct teachers.
