Connected Communities
EMMA & BEECHWOOD
Program Overview:
Connected Communities is a Neighborhood Based Non-Profit Organization working to break the cycle of poverty through anti-racist community revitalization and equitable resources coordination. We work across four pillars of development: Housing, education, community wellness, and economic empowerment. In education we partner with East and School #33 to support the Community School model with an emphasis on collaborative leadership and parent engagement. Our community organizing programming with East EPO aims to partner with and educate parents to become successful advocates for their children's educational success while gaining access to the resources needed to do so.Â
