Purpose: 

 "...to address items included but not limited to, school concerns and practices, school operations, scheduling/class assignments, professional learning needs, scholar progress, record keeping, grant opportunities, and questions related to the EPO. The Governance Council will focus on improving scholar performance and attendance, and meeting the targets set in the EPO plan."

Voting : 

Once placed, each member shares ONE vote with the members of thier constituency for a total of six possible votes.  Four votes is must be cast in order to bind a standard resolution. The Governance Council contains a representative(s) from each of the buildings seven largest constituencies. The Building Principal (1), Administration (2), Teachers (3), Support Staff (4), The EPO (5), Scholars (6) and Parents/Guardians (7). Representatives are chosen by each constituency group on a yearly basis in a process of their own choosing.
