FUTURE READY:

YOUTH WORKFORCE READINESS SERIES

ABOUT:

The "Future Ready: Youth Workforce Readiness Series" is an annual youth-oriented job fair presented by East High School, Connected Communities, the City of Rochester, and other organizations. This year's event is virtual: a series of workshops for youth (e.g. ages 14-20) on preparing for the working world.

The workshops will help youth (1) learn hard and soft skills to be successful in the working world, (2) connect with local employers hiring youth, and (3) network with professionals in several careers that youth can aspire towards.

The workshops are virtual, and they will be held each day during the RCSD February (Feb 15-19) and March (March 29 - April 2) breaks. Participants can register for any session they like. Sessions will be recorded for after-the-fact viewing, but live attendance is encouraged for personal networking.
