SESSION 5 - RCSD's Career and Technical Education Programs

Presented by: East High School and Edison Tech

Description: Both East High School and Edison Tech have Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs that youth can take throughout high school. These are unique for youth to learn life-long career skills while in high school. At East students can join one of six pathways: culinary, optics, vision care, teaching and learning, biomedical and laboratory sciences, and information technology programs. At Edison, students can join one of four pathways: advanced manufacturing and engineering; construction, architecture, and design; digital media, arts, and communication; and the P-Tech Rochester: pathway to technology programs.

This is an especially great session if you're an 8th grade student wondering if you should attend East or Edison next year to enroll in one of these pathways.
