Overview

Third grade is a year of great academic growth. Children who were previously very concrete thinkers are steadily becoming more open to the abstract.  This abstract thinking allows third graders to dive deeper into more abstract concepts and build on previous knowledge and experiences.  Please browse below and click on the academic links at the top of the page to learn more about what Mrs. Schwaner's 3rd Graders are learning about in each of their content areas.
