CAPACITY BUILDING WORKGROUPS

At the commencement of our Geographic Lead Agency work the five county offices convened in the Fall of 2019 to collaborate around the theory of action that had been developed. This collaboration resulted in the development of cross-county collaborative workgroups founded around the key components of data culture, continuous improvement and equity. In the Fall of 2020, as the statewide System of Support continued to expand based on local and statewide needs, the SoCal SoS continuous improvement workgroup shifted from one consolidated group into two separate workgroups in support of regional alignment as it relates to Differentiated Assistance and the Comprehensive Support and Improvement process. As the System of Support has continued to expand, work has evolved to include the incorporation of a workgroup focused on Universal Pre-Kindergarten.
