Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS) is an integral component of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program because it encourages students to develop a well-rounded education and become active, responsible, and compassionate members of their communities. CAS provides opportunities for students to explore their interests beyond the classroom, develop leadership and teamwork skills, and engage in meaningful community service projects. Through CAS, students learn to apply their knowledge and skills to real-world issues, and develop important qualities such as empathy, resilience, and social responsibility that are essential for success in higher education and in life.
CAS connects students with organizations addressing humanitarian crises, delivering mental health services, safeguarding our environment, and those serving the community. Through CAS experiences, our students are prepared to build a culture that promotes peace and democracy, values diversity and works towards a sustainable future for all.
