"Second day of diving in the open water. For the morning dive, we mainly focused on completing the remaining skills required for certification. For me, this primarily involved surface and underwater navigation, releasing cramps underwater, and deploying the safety sausage. Today, I learned how to navigate the water using a compass, which was enjoyable and incredibly useful during the afternoon dive. Once we finished the necessary skills, Timmy (our instructor) took us on a mini adventure, and we descended to a depth of 10 meters (when resurfacing, we had to make a safety stop at 5 meters for 3 minutes).

The afternoon dive was the most enjoyable dive I've had so far. Timmy had us plan the dive (more like he planned it and we just listened), and I had the opportunity to navigate the group underwater. My navigation skills came in handy, allowing me to effortlessly move through the water and witness various underwater sights. I also took numerous photos underwater. However, my least favorite part was encountering numerous long spiky sea urchins while navigating. Despite this, the most exciting part was being towed in by the speed boat. As it turns out, Timmy and I spent a total of 50 minutes underwater, which could definitely cause concern for those on the boat."
