"Learning about aperture while exploring the vibrant street markets of Mong Kok was a very constructive experience. Through experimentation of the aperture setting, a new dimension of storytelling can be found with each adjustment. As I walked through the vibrant markets, my camera became a tool of discovery, capturing minute yet meaningful details of the streets and building narratives within each photo. The bustling energy and chaos of Mong Kok was the perfect environment, giving me a sense of eagerness. Through aperture, I learned to control the depth of field, allowing me to emphasise subjects and create compelling compositions that conveyed the essence of this bustling city. Overall, this one-day trip to Mong Kok had not only taught me about photography, but also enlightened me of the hidden beauty found in unexpected corners of Hong Kong."
