Maclehose Trail Hike
WALK THE ICONIC MACLEHOSE TRAIL
The Maclehose trail is THE iconic hiking route of Hong Kong. Wending its way across 100km of beautiful Hong Kong scenery, the trail promises a challenge like no other. From beaches to the highest peaks, you will be greeted by stunning views all along this famous route.
What to expect:
Average hiking distance of approximately 20km per day
A challenge of your physical and mental fitness and agility
A hugely rewarding experience that you will remember for a long time
A great sense of pride and achievement when you complete the challenge
To be involved in detailed planning of the route, including equipment and resources needed on a daily basis
Great camaraderie and a real sense of teamwork
Travel to and from the starting point each day will be expected (bus may be provided on certain days for a small fee)
*COST:
There will be a nominal cost for each day, which includes travelling to and from the trail start point. An Octopus card loaded with approximately $400 should be enough to cover the week. You will also need to provide your own food and drink for each day of hiking.
