Goals
Goal #1 K-12 Students will show growth in reading comprehension measured by district assessments.
The reading comprehension goal was chosen because reading comprehension was consistently our lowest area on ELA assessments.
Goal #2 District HAL qualification will be updated & students in grades 7-12 will receive HAL based activities.
The HAL goal was chosen due to assessments changing as well as out dated HAL program qualifications. At the 7-12 building, HAL activities had not been provided.
Goal #3 Professional development will be provided around the current instructional model and updates will occur accordingly.
The instructional framework goal was chosen due to the amount of staff that had turned over from the time the previous instructional model was created. We wanted the instructional model to be actively utilized to set goals and plan professional development according.
