RBHS Student Supports and Resources

Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)

At RB, MTSS serves as the foundational framework for matching academic and social emotional interventions to student needs.

What is MTSS?

It’s a framework that utilizes data based decision making to identify at risk students and match them with evidence based interventions. It’s a proactive approach to identifying at-risk students with varying levels of need. These needs can include academic, social emotional, or both. Key components of the MTSS framework at RBHS include:

Tiers within an MTSS framework

Tier 1: Universal or Primary - Majority of Students (75-90%)

Tier 2: Secondary - Small Groups of Students (10-25%)

Tier 3: Tertiary - Individual Students (<10%)
