Spring break is a time that is very enjoyed by students at EJHS. It is a time when students can take a break from the stress of schoolwork and enjoy a much needed break. Some students prefer to travel to exotic places, while others prefer to stay at home and spend time with their families. Regardless of what activities students choose to participate in, spring break is an excellent opportunity for students to relax and have fun before returning to school.
Spring break is a time that is thanked by students while offering a much needed break from schoolwork. NCHS News states, “A long break from school can also improve teenagers’ physical health. Stress and anxiety can cause sleeplessness, changes in appetite and weight, high blood pressure, and irritability.” A break from school is very needed, especially in middle school where things can be a lot harder on students.
Spring break is the perfect opportunity for students to have fun and enjoy themselves. It is a time when they can take a break from their daily routine and do activities that they enjoy. Whether it is traveling to a new place, spending time with family and friends, or doing hobbies and interests. Spring break should be a fun time. Students should take advantage of the break to de-stress before they return to school. Jackson Warren a boy at EJHS said, “I am going to Georgia, a 4-story lakefront cabin and the reason that I am going is simply just because I went up to my mom and asked if we could go to Georgia.”

Spring break is a great opportunity for students and families to go on vacation and explore new places. Maggie Johnson a student from EJHS says, “I think spring break is a really good opportunity for trips. It is really good weather so there are so many trips you can take. Me and my family are going to St. Luis and we are going to be outside a lot so the time of the break is spot on.”
So over spring break whether students are sleeping or traveling they are all having fun. Many students including Zoey Carter are just staying home and reading, Zoey said, “I am excited for a time to myself with the good weather we are getting so I can read my books and catch up on them.” So what are you doing over spring break?
