Which Legend of Zelda is Better? Tears of the Kingdom or Breath of the Wild

Another reason why tears of the Kingdom is better is because there are more places you can go. They added two new areas to the map in Tears of the Kingdom that they don’t have in Breath of the Wild. There are the sky islands which are pretty much what they sound like, little islands floating in the sky. There are lots of treasure chests and shrines on the sky islands so they are definitely worth exploring. There are also the depths which are underground. You can access that area through chasms. That is where the light roots are. That area also has a lot of treasure chests too. The depths is also an area worth exploring. Then of course there is the regular land area that looks the same in both games although most of the shrines are in different locations. GamingBolt says, “A massively changed surface world makes it exciting to go around and see how they’ve evolved.”

Lastly Tears of the Kingdom is also better because you get new powers in it that weren’t in Breath of the wild that make it more fun. Breath of the Wild did give you powers like making pillars of ice in the water that you could climb into, pick up things that are magnetic, and throwing time bombs. Although none off those powers are in Tears of the kingdom they give you better ones like, being able to combine random items to your weapons, shields, and arrows, you can also pick up any item and attach it to any other item, you can also reverse an object which makes it basically just do everything it just did backwards to a point and then it will stop, and finally you can go throw anything over top of you if it is close enough to it. Although the powers that you get in Breath of the Wild are great, the ones in Tears of the Kingdom are a lot better and allow you to get a lot more creative. Noah Myers, a 6th grade student at EJHS said, “[I like it] because you can create your own stuff.” 

Overall I would definitely say that Tears of the Kingdom is better. If you are planning to get Tears of the KIngdom then you should play Breath of the Wild first because if you don’t then you won’t have the full experience in Tears of the Kingdom. Although Tears of the Kingdom is definitely harder it is definitely the better game. Ryne Klinger a student at EJHS said, “I like it because it adds so many more things than Breath of the Wild; it also has a way bigger storyline than Breath of the Wild; it also adds more stuff for you to do and enjoy.”
