Have you ever woken up and just felt terrible and needed a cup of coffee? You should go to Starbucks! They work hard to make their delicious coffee and breakfast, but have you ever wondered what goes on behind the counter? This article will explain everything!
Starbucks, a great place for study or enjoying a Saturday morning. The one here has been open for 2 years and is working hard! On a day to day basis, in the morning Starbucks has 6-7 workers. More people come during that time so they need more workers. In the afternoon, they have 5-6 people working and at night, they have 4 people working for the night shift people that just need a boost. Right before they close, they have about three workers to wrap it up. Starbucks had a problem later on in the business when Americano took away their customers. Americano is a small business a few blocks away from Starbucks. Trey Boyer, a young staff member at Starbucks said, “When Americano took away a little business, we brought it back up drastically.” Boyer says.
Starbucks has so many different things to offer on their menu. But, what makes it special is that the people that make the goods try to have a customer partner bond. They try to succeed in coffee and making the customers feel at home. They also try to be cheerful and happy and it is working.
Believe it or not, Starbucks has a foundation for helping people in need. The Starbucks foundation gives out many things that help the community. You might not know it but they change lives. They donate the old food to food pantries everywhere and make ways to make money for other businesses. “We have donated gift cards, cups, bags of coffee, we had a food drive, and helped Grounds for your Garden.” Haley says. She is another staff member at Starbucks. They also help places like social services, hunger relief, and coffee, tea, and cocoa growing communities. They also help woman and young girls in Asia, Africa, and Latin America by expanding the clean water to all of those people. Without clean water, they could get sick. Starbucks prevents that from happening. The Starbucks foundation is changing the world!
Give Starbucks an extra donation so that they could keep doing these things. This is so important to families across the world and with out some of these things, those families would be miserable. Drop in and tell them thanks. Behind the counter at Starbucks is a very different story.
