Have you ever gotten board in the winter? Cold and lonely out sledding by yourself? Then get your friends and family and just come to paoli peaks already. Paoli Peaks is a place in indiana that you can ski and snowboard without having to drive or fly to a place like michigan. And no its not the best place in the world to go skiing and snowboarding but it is in Indiana. Here is what Ella Johnson has to say about paoli peaks, “My favorite thing about paoli peaks is getting to ski and snowboard in a place without mountains.” I agree.

Paoli Peaks was opened in December 1978 by an investment group led by physician Dr. Richard Graber. Its location is Paoli, Indiana -which is just north of Hoosier National Forest-. Paoli Peaks is named after Pasquale Paoli who was a Corsican general who fought for Corsican independence.
Paoli Peaks also offers a very cool opportunity called Dew after Dark -which is sponsored by Mountain dew- During select nights in January and February 2024 you can come ski and ride under the lights, grab some Mountain Dew samples, and exclusive Dew After Dark merch. It starts at 3:00 pm on the chosen days. Here is what Emerson DeSalle has to say about dew after dark, “I have never skied in the dark so I think dew after dark sounds cool,"

It must be hard to ski without snow in indiana right? Well not really because Paoli Peaks has long used machines to mix water and compressed air to make fake snow to use as natural snowfall. But the temperature must be at 30 degrees or lower for the process to work so if you want to get tickets then plan a chilly day! Make sure you are careful though to not eat the fake snow because it is toxic.
There are very few places to go skiing and snowboarding in indiana but there is also a resort called Perfect North Slopes. Perfect North was formed by the “Perfect Family” and others in 1980 so the two places were made around the same time. Paoli Peaks and Perfect North are both great places to ski and snowboard but if you want something smaller, homier, and better for beginners, Perfect North Slopes would be a better fit for you. But on the other hand, if you want more options, a relaxing experience, and a handful of trails for experts, Paoli Peaks is the place for you!
Overall paoli peaks is a great place to go skiing snowboarding and tubing. You definitely should come in your free time with your friends and family. I will see you there!
