You know about Crumbl cookies, but do you know about Crumble Bakery? It sells way more than cookies, and has a cozy atmosphere! We had an amazing time visiting it, and had some amazing food as well! It has the most amazing decor and the seating was amazing no matter where you sat. Everything was so nice and clean, it really made me want to come again! There were so many people there and it is an amazing place to go for studying, meeting with friends, getting a quick coffee, or a sweet treat!
Crumble Bakery is a cozy little cafe located in 3 different locations. Swain Ave, College Ave, and Piazza Dr. All 3 locations are popular with locals, but aren’t really known by outsiders. In each separate location someone that works there draws all of the menus/art on chalkboards - each location has a different theme. The one that we went to was lemon themed with a character named “Mr. Lemon,” and he appeared many times in the shop.
When we went to the bakery, we tried the rose flavored macaron, the chocolate chip muffin, and the peanut butter brownie. We absolutely loved the treats, and will definitely come back again! We interviewed one of the workers, Mikayla, and she said, “My favorite part of working at Crumble Bakery is getting to eat all of the sweet treats, especially the coffee cake.” She also said that Crumble’s most difficult pastry to make is the croissants that take 24 hours to make. Crumble Bakery is one of the only bakeries in Bloomington that makes croissants daily!
We also interviewed some customers, who had great things to say about Crumble. They said that their favorite pastry is the lavender macaron because of the real lavender in it! We interviewed a few ladies that were sitting down with some friends and they said, “This bakery is always so warm and cozy and the food is so good.” We even got to interview some new customers that were very excited about the bakery! The two customers said that they were planning on getting a coffee and a tea, as well as a few sweet treats!
In conclusion, Crumble Bakery is a very cozy and welcoming place, the customers love it, and we did too! We would definitely recommend going and trying some drinks or sweet treats! All of the workers are so polite and we loved interacting with them. If you get the chance you should totally stop by!
