The first place that you should head to if you are in Bloomington on spring break is Lower Cascades Park! Along with many different hiking trails that take you on a nature journey, Cascades offers limestone shelters, Cascades Creek: a small waterfall, and a huge playground. Lower Cascades Park is located at 2851 N. Old State Road 37 incase you wanted to stop by for a quick visit or an all-day experience!
Another place that you should check out during spring break is Hoosier Heights! If you didn't know, Hoosier Heights is an indoor rock climbing gym. They have a developmental team for new climbers or anyone who wants to learn more about climbing in fun ways - it is for ages 8-16. They also have advanced classes if you want a challenge. If you don't want to do any classes they also have free climbing!
Lastly, if you want a challenging activity to do, you should try “The Gateway to Scenic Southern Indiana,” the scavenger hunt located around the IU campus, is fun for all ages! You’re also free to do it at your own pace; no tour guides! For only 12 dollars a person, you get to spend around 2 hours exploring around campus with friends and family! It is so fun for families, friends, or just by yourself!
