Have you ever been on your TV or phone and been looking through Netflix and couldn’t find anything to watch? But, you were paying a whole $20 a month for this, and they removed the show that made you buy the subscription to Netflix in the first place! Wait, when you search up the show you are looking for, the search suggests that Netflix has the show you were actually looking for! You search it up, and it says that it doesn’t have it in the first place, but why did it say that it had it! This to me is outrageous. Hulu has your back, cause it turns out it has the movie you were looking for! Hulu is a way better streaming service than Netflix, and I can tell you why.

The first reason why Hulu is better is because Hulu has a lot better options for a cheaper price. Hulu has a lot of high ‘Rotten Tomatoes’ score shows that the website says that you should binge-watch. A few of these is a 100% scored show called ‘Blue Eye Samurai’, which is also available on Netflix, or you could watch shows not available on Netflix, like ‘Shark Tank’ or ‘Murder at the End of the World’, but because Hulu’s $8 subscription price compared to Netflix’s $20 subscription price makes Hulu a better choice to watch all of your favorite shows and is generally a better streaming service overall.
The second reason is because Netflix has a lot of problems when it comes to general enjoyment. Netflix is rightfully infamous for showing search results for shows that aren’t actually available to the platform, while Hulu gives you search results relating to the platform. Although Hulu does not have the upper hand when it comes to the amount of shows and programs, it still has a better show variety. “Hulu has a more appealing show variety than Netflix does,” says Callen Robertson, a sixth grader at Edgewood. “I like Hulu a lot more than Netflix.” Hulu has a more appealing, green and black color opposed to the bright, eye-straining red color of its competitor. Hulu has the general appeal and nice color format, so Hulu has the more appeal from people and has a better color palette.
From shows that exceed the reach of Netflix, the colors being more appealing and recognizable, the competitor’s search results being inaccurate and more, Hulu has the upper hand and is better in multiple ways. I hope this article has convinced you of the truth that Hulu is a better streaming service than Netflix.
