Into the woods is a very popular musical. Even though it came out in 2014 it is still very popular. The musical starrs very many stories in a musical form. Some of The stories include Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel and Cinderella. Does this musical deserve all of its lovely reviews?
This is a scene when jack sells his cow milky white.
Starting off Into The Woods is about 2 hours long. It took a lot of work to create. Something I really enjoyed was the character, Little Red Riding Hood! The actor Lilla Crawford really added to the story with her lovely singing voice and acting skills. Every scene that she was in I was excited to see. Dorothy Hamilton says, “I love that musical! It is amazing.”
In my opinion I think the musical was too long. I thought a lot of info people didn’t need to know. Basically the second act. After Cinderella and the prince kissed that could have ended the musical.
I also really liked the 2 bakers. They cared so much to have a child and would do anything if they could have a child. After their hard work to undo their curse, they got a child! This shows if you work hard for your dreams your work might pay off! Audrey Gudmundson said, “It was a very nice movie!”
Even though I don’t really like the second act I found something that I thought was funny. A very weird coincidence, The prince met the baker's wife in the woods a few times. The third time, the prince kissed her. The awful thing was she was married. After she kissed him back, she disappeared. She kind of got what she deserved.
Here are all of the main characters
In the end Into the woods is a great movie/musical! There was a lot of work put into it, and it definitely paid off! If you want to watch a musical with many plots and stories combined this is the perfect musical for you!
