Jenna Ortega is an American actress who has played in many shows and movies, some of those shows and movies include, Yes Day, Wednesday, Stuck in the Middle, and so many more! Jenna Ortega not only does in-person shows and movies but also voice-overs. Some of the shows and movies that she has voiced over include Big City Greens, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, Elena of Avalor, and more. This article shows recognition for accomplishments and her life out of popularity.
Jenna stars in a movie called Wednesday, it’s probably where you heard of her. It is a very famous show so you probably know someone who watches it. She is also in movies Yes Day, Iron Man 3, and many more. Jenna Ortega is most well known for her starring role in Wednesday, which consists of her playing Wednesday Addams and moving to a new school called Nevermore Academy where she meets her new roommate and soon-to-be friend, Enid Sinclair, apart of the werewolf gang while Jenna, or Wednesday, is mainly spotted out because of her odd appearance and personality. Poppy Bishop, a student at EJHS, says that she thinks Jenna Ortega is a good actress and mainly knows her from this popular show, Wednesday.
Jenna Ortega’s young life consisted of growing up with 5 siblings, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Her sisters' names are Aliyah Ortega, Mia Ortega, and Mariah Ortega. Her brothers' names are Isaac Ortega and Markus Ortega. She grew up with her parents Natalie and Edward Ortega alongside her siblings. Jenna is fourth of the six children Natalie and Edward have had. Jenna Ortega grew up in La Quinta, California. And she had actually wanted to act since she was a minor six years old! As of 2024, she will be 22 years old, she was born on September 27th of 2002 and has been an amazing person ever since. Isabel Branam, a student at EJHS, says she has heard of shows and movies she’s been in such as, Yes Day, Wednesday, and Stuck in the Middle. Some of which she played in her younger years.
Jenna Ortega’s adult life has her in more than 15 shows she plays in and over 23 movies. Jenna Ortega has actually not been to college though she did complete high school and receive her diploma. Jenna Ortega actually received her diploma in the middle of a movie!! Jenna Ortega has a pet dog named Brooklyn, her breed is a Yorkie. She had actually named her dog after she played one of the main roles in a tv show called Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous. “Yes, I think the way she acts and her personality strongly impacts her acting career.” Says Naveya Scott, a student at EJHS when asked if she likes her shows or movies.
Jenna Ortega truly is an amazing actress, daughter, sister, and friend to have. She started by playing a small role in shows and movies all the way up to major and even main character roles, such as, Wednesday, Yes Day, Elena of Avalor, and so many more! She has proved all of her haters wrong as she is rockin’ every role she plays. Even her mom was a bit unsupportive of her acting career at first and was trying to distract Jenna by having her play soccer and focus on school. Her mom has seen how amazing her daughter is at acting though, and is one of her many fans worldwide.
