Did you know that one of the Top 25 science centers in the country is located here in Bloomington? The WonderLab is about all things science-related, that they share through interactive exhibits. They believe learning is at its most effective & fun when hands-on exploration and play are involved. And as 6th grader Zathalia Welding says, âThe Wonder Lab is better than any other museums because it's actually kinda fun and you can do stuff there."
The health and safety of WonderLabâs visitors and staff is their highest priority. WonderLab is following guidelines and recommendations of the CDC, the Indiana State Department of Health, the City of Bloomington and the Monroe County Health Department. Everybody entering the museum or museum property are required to follow the mask policy.The Mask Policy is that the WonderLab has âmasks requiredâ days and âmasks welcomedâ days. Everyone should visit on the day that best meets their needs. The first Tuesday of the month is a mask required day, and the rest of the week is masks welcomed days.
The Wonder Lab has many fun and exciting activities along with interactive exhibits. Some of these exhibits include: the Airmaze, Pulley chairs, Magnetic Sculpture, the Bed of Nails, Wondersaurus, and more! The Wonder Lab also has an outdoor WonderGarden with solar power & sounds! To get into The WonderLab, the Admission is $14.00 for ages over 1, and Active military & family members get a 20% discount on general admission.
In conclusion, the WonderLab museum is a fun 1 day trip full of cool activities that will be remembered as one of the best and most fun places to learn! The WonderLab is an award-winning science museum that has 43 awards! Located on the B-Line Trail in the heart of the Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District. So come stop by and have some fun.Â
