Chocolate is one of the most popular foods in America with Americans consuming more than a billion pounds every year. There have been many chocolates made in the existence of this delicious food but what ones are truly the best out there? In this article, I will share my opinion about what I think are the best chocolates
This is a Cookies and Cream Hershey's; a creative flavor they have came up with
Number 5: Hershey’s
This is an absolute classic chocolate right here. Hershey’s was released in 1879 and it has grown in popularity since. Hershey’s has come up with some very creative flavors like cookies & cream, and peppermint; they both are delicious. Mahaila Battle says, “ Hershey has many good flavors and they also release limited edition stuff that tastes good.” Hershey’s is overall a very good chocolate. So why am I putting it at number 5? Hershey’s just feels too basic sometimes. I like my chocolate to sometimes be stuffed with peanut butter or caramel; Hershey’s doesn’t have this. This is why Hershey’s is number 5 on my list.
This is a cotton candy KitKat; one of the most overkill flavors that KitKat has made
Number 4: KitKat
KitKat is also a great chocolate-wafer combo. Like Hershey’s, they came up with some creative and unique flavors such as pumpkin pie and blueberry muffin. Miriam Falkunburg says, “I like KitKat because there is a different variety of KitKats that you can try.” Again KitKat is a delicious chocolate. But the reason why it is number 4 on the list is that some flavors that they have produced can be overkill like the green tea flavor or the cotton candy flavor. When I think of chocolate I think of extremely basic flavors like dark chocolate and white chocolate but these flavors that KitKat has made are way too much. This is why KitKat is number 4 on the list
This is a picture of a Ferrero Rocher.
Number 3: Ferrero Rocher
This one is actually very good. If you don’t know what Ferrero Rocher is let me give you a quick detailed description: Ferrero Rocher is a spikey hazelnut ball covered in milk chocolate and just those two alone is so good. Jasmine Puma says, “Ferrero Rocher on top. everything else sucks.” When you hear a quote like this, you probably think, This chocolate sounds good! But this is the reason why it is number 3: It can sometimes be hard to find it and it seems a little too fancy because it is wrapped in gold tinfoil. This is why it is number 3 on the list.

Reese’s ultimate peanut butter lover’s cups; another overkill flavor that they made.
Number 2: Reese's
This chocolate is absolutely iconic. It has over 40 million buyers per month and it has some very good flavors like Resee’s Take 5 and Resee’s outrageous. Mason McCarty says, “ Resee’s is my favorite chocolate because I love the peanut butter and chocolate combo that it has.” Overall, Resee’s is a very good chocolate brand. But here is why it is number 2: Sometimes I am not in the mood for Reese’s all the time and some of the flavors they have produced is overkill like some of KitKat’s flavors. This is one example: Ultimate peanut butter lover's cups with peanut butter chocolate and peanut butter filling. This is why Reese’s is number two on my list.
This is a picture of a 100 Grand; one of the most underrated chocolates to exist
Number 1: 100 Grand
I firmly believe that this is the best chocolate bar out there. It reminds me of a Nestle Crunch bar but a deluxe version of it. It has a layer of uncooked rice which gives it a nice crunch and then a layer of melty caramel and milk chocolate. This chocolate bar is heavily underrated and I wish more people knew about it and it’s delicious features. This is why it is number one on my list.
Overall these are my favorite chocolates. Many people may have their own opinion but that’s ok because even if you don’t like any of these chocolates, I would love to hear what is your favorite chocolate in the Google form below. Thank you for reading and have a great day.
