2024 Presidential Election 9/11/23

An election is our country voting for which president the citizens want to run the country. Elections are important because the president gets to make decisions for our country, we as citizens want to choose a good president so that we get what's best for our country. There have been a lot of presidents, some good and some not so good.
The first ever election was held in 1789, Where George Washington was elected to be our first ever president. Since then more people wanted to be president and more people started voting and because of that our country has developed into something to be proud of. Since then there has been a lot of great presidents like Barack Obama, Abraham Lincoln, and John F Kennedy. Elections are held every four years. You have to be older than 17 years old and hopefully vote for the right president.
Our country’s next election is on November 5th, 2024. On this date, the Predident and the Vice President will be elected. I am excited for the next election and see who is president for the next four years.
