In the dew of Monday morning on November 13th, a man was shot in the BUTT by his 64-year-old neighbor, Bret Sherrow.

According to the victim of the shooting, he and a friend were gathering some stuff from the victim's house when his neighbor came up and hid a gun in his pocket. According to an MCSO Facebook post “The victim reported the suspect started shoving him, so he retrieved pepper spray from his pocket and tried to spray the suspect but it didn’t work,” The suspect had then started to fumble for his gun so the victim started to run off. There was a gunshot, then the victim realized he had been shot.
The suspect had then run off and the victim's friend had then driven the victim to the hospital. The witness then reported the news to the police and the police identified the man as Bret Sherrow, age 64. Bret had lived on West Walnut Street in Stinesville, Indiana, and is still being looked for by the police.
Bret Sherrow had committed a Level 5 Felony which could land you in jail for 1-6 years with a fine up to $10,000. Anyone with knowledge of Sherrow’s whereabouts is being asked to call MCSO Central Dispatch at (812) 349-2781. Bret Sherrow, should not be approached as he may be armed and dangerous.
According to The Bloomingtonian, “It is essential to note that charges against Bret Sherrow are allegations, and he is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, with law enforcement diligently working to apprehend the suspect and gather further details surrounding the case.”
