On Monday August 22, 2022, the Edgewood girls volleyball team traveled to brown county and the eighth grade team won and the seventh grade team lost. We interviewed Mrs. Edgemen and found out more about the game. Before the game she had a chicken from McDonalds. She said “both teams played great and the seventh grade team fought hard, but came out short and lost both games.” She also said the eighth grader, Ava Siegelin had a great serving game and that Jayla Howard had some very good hits. We interviewed 2 of their players, Ella LaRoche and Jenna Abram. They said they played great, but they can’t get too confidant about winning every game. Jenna had 3 kills and 4 aces and had a great game all around and Ella had 2 kills and 4 aces. They said the ball felt light which affect their game and could’ve had a better game. Overall both teams played great and fought hard.
