Have you ever met Mrs. Dixon? Well she is in her 30s and a substitute teacher at EJHS! She is such a nice person and a very funny person. We will be talking about her job and all about what she does and what she likes and how she became a substitute teacher. I hope you enjoy and learn more about Mrs. Dixon in this article she is truly awesome.
Mrs. Dixon actually didn't plan to be a substitute teacher, she worked for a while and got her bachelor's degree in education and was on path to be an actual teacher but due to the pandemic she didn't get the chance to become a teacher. If she wanted to be an actual teacher she would have to go to school again and work to get her masters degree all over again. ”I thought teaching kinda falls in line with being a sub so I just became a substitute teacher.”-Mrs. Dixon. Most subs were teachers to begin with but with Mrs. Dixon it's a different story since the pandemic hit and it was hard for her to be an actual teacher she decided that since it's the close she became a sub. Before Mrs. Dixon worked here she worked for Uber Eats and delivered food to people.
Mrs. Dixon doesn't just teach 6th grade she is a substitute for 6th through 8th and when the pandemic hit she was working for mostly EIS and EPS. When Mrs. Dixon was trying to be a teacher she had originally thought to be a kindergarten teacher but after the pandemic she instead became a sub for EJHS. I'm very glad that Mrs. Dixon came to work here. Mrs. Dixon has recently applied for another job for our schools.
Mrs. Dixon likes working here and also likes her students. She likes it when her students enjoy what they are learning or just social studies in general. She loves how her schedule is similar to the students' schedule. “I like when my schedule lines up with the students' schedule”-Mrs. Dixon.
Thanks for reading this article. I hope you liked it and also learned more about Mrs. Dixon and being a substitute teacher. Mrs. Dixon is a really nice and hard working person and I have enjoyed writing about her. Have a great day.
