Great Wolf Lodge is a family resort featuring an indoor water park, restaurants, arcade, and other children’s activities. There are many locations in the U.S, but I went to the one in Mason, Ohio. There are many activities that you can do at Great Wolf Lodge.
Me exiting out of the Coyote Cannon water slide at Great Wolf Lodge.
A lot of people have been to Great Wolf Lodge, but there are some who haven’t. 50% of people asked have been to Great Wolf Lodge. 50% of people have never been.
There are 3 tube slides at the waterpark I visited. They are called The Coyote Cannon, Alberta Falls, and Triple Twist. They are all fun slides to go on. My favorite part of going down the waterslides is the part where you go fast and can hear other people that are on the other slides screaming as they go on a drop.
My favorite water slide at this location is the Coyote Cannon. The Coyote Cannon is a bowl water slide. It is fun because you start down, and about 3 seconds in, there is a drop that takes you into the bowl. When you are in the bowl, you make 2-3 laps around before it spins you around and you go backwards into the last drop, which lands you in the Crooked Creek at the bottom. My sister's favorite slide is the Coyote Cannon. She said, “It’s like a toilet bowl and it turns you around backwards.”
The indoor waterpark has been a popular favorite activity. Lindsey Howell said that the indoor waterpark was a favorite activity during her trip, because she got to spend time with family. Caitlyn Bayne said that her favorite activity was the indoor water park. She said, “They have really big slides and it is really fun!”
The Alberta Falls is a slide that takes you down and out of the building for a split second and when you come back into the building you are finished as you exit the slide in a pool next to the Crooked Creek. It is my second favorite slide and the second slide that I went on while visiting.
My sister is floating in the Crooked Creek at Great Wolf Lodge, Mason, Ohio.
The Crooked Creek is a Great Wolf Lodge lazy river attraction. You can swim around the Crooked Creek, or you can grab a tube and float around. My siblings and I liked to race around the Crooked Creek and play tag. Beth Hoard, Dee Minnick, and Elise Means all said that the Crooked Creek was their favorite water activity. Dee Minnick said, “I like to float around the lazy river and relax.” Beth Hoard said, “It's relaxing and fun.” Elise Means also preferred the Crooked Creek attraction and said, “It was an activity my youngest daughter and I could do while my husband and oldest rode the "big kid slides". I personally think that the lazy river is relaxing.
You can find something for everyone in your family there. They have a MagiQuest game, bowling, arcade, and mini-golf. Great Wolf Lodge also offers many free activities for your family to do while on vacation. For example, you may want to attend the evening story time at the big tree, or maybe craft time in the lobby sounds interesting to you. You can find fun for your entire family. If you have a passion for playing in the water and spending quality time with your family, Great Wolf Lodge in Mason, Ohio is a must for your next family trip!
