Some Of The Most Famous Movies/TV Shows Based In Indiana

There are alot of movies in the world and most of them are based in California or New York City, Tokyo or any other big city, but what about our home state of indiana? Surprisingly there are a lot of really famous movies and tv shows that are based in indiana and today we are going to review some of them.

First off we have the TV show Stranger things. This show takes place in 1980 when a young boy disappears, a small town unravels a mystery involving secret experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and a very powerful and strange little girl. This Show came out in 2016 and almost everyone knows about it. It is rated PG-13 so if you get scared easily then I would not suggest watching this show. Here are the names of some of the actors Millie Bobby Brown plays as Eleven, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler and Noah Schnapp as Will Byers. And here is a quote about Stranger things.

Next we have a really great movie that I absolutely love made in 1983, A Christmas Story. This movie is about a small 1940 family of four and their hilarious events leading up to Christmas day. This is one of my favorite Christmas movies because of the really funny scenes and the entertaining characters. I would definitely suggest this movie for all families. Some of the actors in this movie are Ian Petrella playing as the little brother Randy, Peter Billingsley as The big brother Ralphie and the parents, Melinda Dillon playing Mother Parker, and Darren McGavin playing as The Old Man Parker.

And the last movie we have is a movie called Hoosiers made in 1986. This movie is about A failed college coach Norman Dale who gets a chance at coaching a small Indiana high school team. He struggles to gather a solid team after the star player is influenced by a teacher to quit basketball and study and pursue school. In my opinion this is one of the best basketball movies ever created and it really tells the story of how if you put in the work then you can accomplish great things. Some of the lead actors are Gene Hackman playing as the coach, Barbera Hershey playing as the teacher and Maris Valainis as the star player Jimmy Chitwood. And here is a quote about Hoosiers.
