Everybody nowadays is eating Jolly Ranchers, and they all have different opinions about the best flavor. I asked multiple 6th graders what they think the best flavor is, and why if they know. What do you think is the best?
Most people love and go crazy over Jolly Ranchers. But Bella Bennett, a 6th grader, says she doesn’t like Jolly Ranchers. She says, “I don’t really like fruity candy, because it is too sweet and artificial.” Everybody has different opinions, and some people even start wars over the flavors. Anderson Shertzer, a 6th grader, says he likes watermelon the best. He says, “I like it because it’s the most sour flavor.” Then there is the most controversial favorite flavor so far. Nick Bikoff, a 6th grader, thinks that grape is the best flavor. He comments, “The best part about grape flavor is the mix of sour and sweetness. It makes it taste great.”

Then there are some of the top favorites. A 6th grader, Carson Thomas, thinks that blue raspberry is the best flavor. This is what many people also think. He says, “I like it because it’s sweeter and just a better overall flavor.” The second most popular flavor is green apple, and that is just what Alder Hanson, a 6th grader likes best. He says, “The reason I like green the best is because it is more sour than the others and it has the most flavor.
Personally, I think that green apple is the best flavor. I think this because green apple is almost a nostalgic flavor, since me and my family used to go to the bank and they would give out green apple flavored suckers, which just tasted super good. That is why I think green apple is the best.
But, of course not all people agree with the green apple lovers, so here is the overall standings. The vast majority of people said that they like blue raspberry, which is pretty obvious. But, not too closely in second comes green apple. Seems like an underdog, but lots of people said it was their favorite.

The rest of the flavors didn’t get as many votes, but in 3rd place was watermelon. A good amount of people said it was their favorite, but then some said it was the worst. In 2nd to last place is grape, surprisingly with 3 votes. But then the last place flavor is Cherry, which most people seem to forget about. It only had 2 votes.

My all time favorite food is ground beef tacos, preferably with the soft shell, and I was born on a Taco Tuesday.
