Cross Country orĀ

Track?

Have you ever thought about whether cross country or track is better? Well, cross country is better and if that's not your opinion, here is why it should be.

One reason Cross country is better than track is that the run lasts longer, with track the races only last a little while so there is less time to do it, which makes it way more fun because you're running for longer. With track the race will be over before you know it, the longer the better. If you run for longer distances you will be better at running.

My second reason is, you get to run through the woods so there are trees so when it's really hot outside it is cooler in the trees, which makes it easier to run for a long time. Track, however, there is just a big circle around a football field with no trees, just running in a circle.

Running through the woods with not a lot of people around is peaceful and not as stressful as running on a track with lots of people watching and screaming at you to run faster. It's a lot easier to focus on your pace and breathing while running if there are not as many people around screaming at you to run faster and catch up to the person in front of you. There are still people there just not for the whole run.Ā

Cross country is way better than track for so many reasons, it is more fun, it's less stressful, the race lasts longer, and it's easier to focus on running in an XC meet than it is to in track. That is why cross country is much better than track. They are both great but cross country is better because of these reasons.
