In 1964 the first batch of poptart were released. Strawberry, Blueberry, Apple-Currant, and Brown Sugar Cinnamon. They were known as the “Fab-Four”. But one of them was not so “Fab”. Can you guess which one? The Brown Sugar Cinnamon. Throughout the years, people have said that the Brown Sugar Cinnamon pop tart isn’t the worst. But some of us know that the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Poptart is the worst.
I am extremely happy to know that I am not the only one in EJHS that dislikes the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tart.
Wren Ferguson has tried quite a few pop tarts and here is what she thinks,”My favorite is Strawberry, but the Cinnamon poptart is definitely the worst” Wren continued with,”To me it tastes like someone took Cinnamon toast and put it in a poptart then sprinkled acid on it.”
”It tastes as if someone just threw a bunch of expired cinnamon onto a pop tart crust and put the expired cinnamon in the filling” Nicholas Bikoff says.
Ava Siegelin says, “It’s not my first option, I would rather have a more exciting flavor. Like cookies and cream or s'mores.” She stated after “The Cinnamon Pop tart doesn’t have that.”
I asked some of the 6th graders in journalism why they disliked the Cinnamon pop tart and here's what they said. “Because it tastes like it exploded in dust and got put in a wrapper.” Alder Hanson says. I don’t know how he knows what dust tastes like but I can agree. If you’ve tasted dust before and then you try to eat the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Poptart, you may not be able to taste the difference.
