Jingle bell, Jingle bell, Jingle bell rock! Have you ever heard the classic Jingle Bells, or Jingle Bell Rock. We have, and we love them both! We think Christmas music is amazing and great to help you get into the holiday spirit. If we had to decide between the two though, we would pick Jingle Bell Rock and here's why.
Jingle Bell Rock is newer and more in style. Jingle Bells was made in 1850, and Jingle Bell Rock was created in 1957. There is a difference of over 100 years! Like most things, people's taste in music has evolved with time, which explains why 75% of people I asked said they preferred Jingle bell rock. That's far over half!
Another reason why it is better is because it is more catchy. Most catchy songs are also less boring to listen to. Also people tend to like to sing the more catchy songs. Although Jingle Bells is a very popular song, many people enjoy listening to Jingle Bell Rock more because it is more catchy. It is more fun to listen to. Avery Jackson said that he likes Jingle Bell Rock better because Jingle Bells is boring and a Thanksgiving song.
Also Jingle bell rock is more upbeat, and it has a really good and catchy tune. Sawyer Hancock said, “It's more upbeat and catchy.” If you listen to Jingle Bell Rock you will likely want to keep listening, while Jingle Bells is good you probably don't want to listen to it for as long. If you listen to Jingle bells for too long it might get a little annoying, especially if you keep singing it for your family and friends. Isabel Branam said, “I prefer upbeat and catchy songs. I don't dislike songs that aren't, it just depends. I think they are both good songs. I just prefer Jingle Bell Rock.”
These are the reasons why we think that Jingle Bell Rock is better than Jingle Bells. It is newer and people like to have, watch, and listen to the newest things. It is also more catchy and upbeat. We hope that you enjoy listening to both of these Christmas songs this year.
