Starting with the candy that most people buy. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are the most bought candy. It is a great candy packed full of sweet peanut butter, white chocolate, or dark chocolate. They were invented by H.B. in 1923. Just remember if you are lactose intolerant or are allergic to peanuts it would not be a great choice but otherwise, I think it is delicious. Here is what Kanen Reed, a 6th grader at EJHS, says about Reese's, “I don’t think it’s a top ten candy. I think it is okay though,” Coming at number one in like candy we have drumroll… Reese's Peanut Butter Cups! I guess we have our answer now but let's look at some more candy.
The 2nd most popular candy is M&M You may be wondering what M&M&M stands for. M & M stands for Mars and Murrie named after Forrest E. Mars Sr. the founder of Mars and Bruce Murrie, the son of Hershey Chocolate's president William F. R. Murrie. A perfect candy with a whopping 11 flavors currently. It was made by Forrest E. Mars, Sr., and was introduced in 1941. It also goes from just regular to caramel cold brew. There are lots of flavors with peanuts or almonds so you will want to check the bag before you eat. Here is what Ella Johnson, an 8th grader at EJHS has to say, “ M&Ms are very good because they have tons of different kinds,” M&Ms are very close to the top spot in popularity and were in the past.

And at number three we have hot tamales. These are perfect if you like spicy things. If you don’t know what they are, it looks like a red mike and ike but is spicy and tastes like cinnamon. It was made by Just Born in 1950. If you don’t like spicy things then don’t eat this.
Last and in fact least we have the worst candy. You might not have heard of this but it is Circus Peanuts. It is a banana-flavored marshmallow in the shape of a peanut. It is also orange even though it is a peanut and it is banana flavored. Its texture is like a stale marshmallow. The candy was invented in the 1800s by Spangler Candy and was very popular in the 1960s. I have had these and they tasted like rotten bananas. I would not try these.
