Most people have gone Trick or Treating, and if you have you probably had the feeling of instant sadness walking away from a house with a nasty candy. There are some candies that are simply disgusting and nasty and here's the top five worst halloween candy.

This is Black Licorice the worst candy ever created.
Number five: Candy corn
Candy corn is a type of candy that you either love or despise. Personally I don’t like candy corn but I don’t think it’s horrible that’s why it’s number five on the list. Zoey Carter said, “The chalky texture is disgusting.” Also most people only like pumpkins which is inconsistent.
Number four: Tootsie Rolls
This candy is pretty bad. It’s a chocolate candy that comes in a wrapper, and it’s almost impossible to not get the chocolate stuck on your teeth or gums while eating it. Also it doesn’t taste that good. This is why it’s number four.
Number three: Laffy Taffys
Laffy taffys tastes decent but the reason why it’s number three is because it’s impossible to get it out of the wrapper without the candy getting stuck on it especially when it is melted. This would probably happen while sitting outside. Other than that it's not that horrible although some flavors aren’t great most aren’t horrible. That is why it’s number three.
Number two: Jelly Beans
Jelly Beans are either nasty or super nasty when you get them. There's just not a good way to describe them besides disgusting. They also aren’t really the candy you want on Halloween. Most kids want Hershey bars or Reeses Cups; nobody wants Jelly beans I certainly don’t. That's why it’s number two on the list.
Number one: Black liquorice
Black liquorice is the type of candy you get on Halloween and you cry. This candy is plain out nasty. Although some people like it I just don’t understand why. I would like it to make it clear that Twizzelers and red liquorice aren’t all that bad, it's just black liquorice. I have personally tried black liquorice and I spat it out as soon as I tasted how bad it was. The best way to describe this candy is bitter and disgusting. Jackson Wells says, “Black Liquorice is disgusting and tastes like something that you would find in a trashcan.” That's why it’s the number one worst candy.
In conclusion Black liquorice is the worst Halloween candy for many reasons. The main reason is it’s disgusting.
