Mrs. Paula Erickson - Library Media Specialist

Mrs. Erickson has been a high school librarian since 2003. 20 years at Fort Osage High School. This is her 2nd year at Raymore-Peculiar High School. She graduated from UCM with my Education Specialist degree in Library Science in 2013. She also has a Master's Degree in Technology in Education from Lesley University, Library Certification from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology Education from Northwest Missouri State University. Before becoming a Library Media Specialist, she was a high school science teacher for 7 years. She has also been an adjunct instructor for UCM in their Library Science program since 2014.

Mrs. Erickson has been married to her husband, Jason, for 29 years. Her husband is the practice manager for a veterinary clinic in Kansas City. He takes their 2 dogs to work with him everyday. Together they have 2 children. Her daughter Alexis graduated from UCM in May 2020 and is working as a certified pharmacy technician at University Health. Her son Zach works in agriculture.  Mrs. Erickson and her husband love attending live events, traveling, and riding our motorcycles. They also enjoy watching TV, whether it be watching a sporting event, binge-watching shows or documentaries on a streaming site, or something on regular TV.
